In challenging times, Airmen turn to their leaders for guidance and reassurance more than ever. I happen to think of us, all my Air Force brethren, as leaders in our communities.
For those who know me, I often come across as an impatient person. I like to think of myself as highly focused with a sense of urgency, but… sometimes not. Patience is a constant challenge I continue to battle and try to put into perspective. I sometimes have to remind myself not everyone sees things as I do. I use the following story to remember that.
Tech. Sgt. Brandon Ibanez, a cyber intelligence analyst with the 854th Combat Operations Squadron here, analyzes intelligence and triangulates technical, geographical and operational information to provide situational awareness for leadership. In his civilian life, he's been battling COVID-19.
Col. Lori Jones, 960th Cyberspace Wing commander, addresses Airmen in the unit during commander's call June 4, 2020, along with Chief Master Sgt. Christopher Howard, 960th CW acting command chief, at Joint Base San Antonio-Chapman Training Annex, Texas.
The 960th Cyberspace Wing hosted its second annual Leadership Summit here April 13-15, 2020, overcoming social distancing initiatives put into place due to COVID-19.
When social distancing guidelines were introduced to stop the spread of COVID-19, 51st NOS leadership quickly implemented contingency plans structured to acclimate their Airmen to a new cyber paradigm, resulting in the unit’s first virtual unit training assembly April 4-5.
