JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Due to the severe weather and adverse road conditions in and around Joint Base San Antonio, the installation commander will close JBSA for non-emergency personnel on Feb. 17, 2021.
JBSA will reduce non-emergency services and support during this time. All personnel are encouraged to remain off the roads and take proper cold-weather safety precautions. If you must travel, allow plenty of time and drive safely.
Emergency Mission Essential Personnel should receive official reporting instructions from their leadership.
Weather and safety leave is authorized. Civilians should work with their supervisor to determine leave or telework as appropriate.
